May 30 at 8:47 comment added Dikran Marsupial "For example, when you have imbalanced data, likely you shouldn't be concerned with accuracy." is incorrect, whether accuracy is important depends on the needs of the application not the characteristics of the dataset. Imbalanced problems often have unequal misclassification costs, but that is not generally because of the imbalance, the two things just often go together, but it is the misclassification costs that matter not the imbalance.
