I saw that when using KNN classifier, input X should be scaled. However, I also saw KNN can be used for regression too (here). I wonder if the X is needed to be scaled, then their predictions would also be scaled too. Then how can we recover/unscale the prediction back to values within the reasonable range of the true y?
