Using the Orange Software (Quasar), I am trying to obtain the height of a spectral peak, which I thought I could do by the amplitude of a fitted Gaussian.

However, when I fit a Gaussian to my data (which has been normalized between 0-1), it is outputting an amplitude far greater than 1 (16.9 in the attached figure). Does anyone know what is going on, or if there is something else I can do to achieve the maximum value in the peak?
