I have a vector A of 6 integers [1000,900,800,700,600,500] and each number corresponds to another vector B [0,1,2,3,4,5].

How can I get a vector A_new of 5 integers if I scale the vector B to [0,0.25,0.5,0.75,1]?

And after that I want be able to reverse that.

  • $\begingroup$ I'm not sure what you mean by "each number corresponds to a vector." Do you have a way to encode vectors as integers? Or are you asking for suggestions of ways to convert vectors to integers in an invertible way? $\endgroup$
