I need to use an Excel file that have many merged cells with no specific order.

I guess that the file creator thought that it would be more readable to merge the cells that have the same value.

However I would like to get a clean source file with one cell per row and column number in order to work further with it in other tools such as Jupyter Notebooks.

If I undo the cells merge for all, I get many empty cells.

Let's say that I get the following type of merged cells :

-----------------------
1 |
2 | "Content"
3 |
-----------------------

If I cancel cells merging for all the datasheet I get :

-----------------------
1 | "Content"
-----------------------
2 |
-----------------------
3 |
-----------------------

What I need is :

-----------------------
1 | "Content"
-----------------------
2 | "Content"
-----------------------
3 | "Content"
-----------------------

This can be cleaned by hand cell by cell but the dataset is huge. Is there a built-in method or a macro to do this automatically on all cells, or some other tool available to do this?
