I am a Lead Data Science with experience in Insurance and Finance. I have built and put into production Machine Learning models to assess insurance claims, Credit Risk and to prevent Fraud.
I have also created 3 machine learning courses which are available on Udemy, and designed an open source python package for feature engineering, which can be found in pypi and github.
I have an MSc in Biology, a PhD in Biochemistry and 8+ years of experience as a research scientist in well-known institutions like University College London and the Max Planck Institute. I have scientific publications in various fields such as Cancer Research and Neuroscience, and some of my research was covered by the media on multiple occasions.
I have also been an instructor in Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires for several years, and taught seminars and tutorials at University College London, and mentored MSc and PhD students at Universities.
I regularly share Data Science and Machine Learning knowledge as a speaker in meetings and conferences for the Data Science Community, and through blogs, articles and online courses. I like supporting students and professionals who want to step into and excel in Data Science.
